This recipe only takes about 20 to 30 minutes to complete.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nYou will need&#8230;\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>250g self-raising flour<\/li>\n<li>40g butter<\/li>\n<li>150ml milk<\/li>\n<li>1.5 tbsp caster sugar<\/li>\n<li>pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat the over to gas mark 7, (220 C \/ 425 F).<\/li>\n<li>Sift flour into a bowl and add the butter.<\/li>\n<li>Rub the butter gently into the flour until it resembles bread crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Add the salt and sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Slowly mix the milk in using a metal spoon to form a soft dough.<\/li>\n<li>Knead the dough with your hands to bind it.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out the dough so it&#8217;s about 2cm thick.<\/li>\n<li>Use a 4cm pastry cutter to cut the little scones out.<\/li>\n<li>Keep reforming and cutting until all the dough has been used.<\/li>\n<li>Place the scones, with a little dusting of flour on top, onto a greased baking sheet and put into the oven.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the scones after 12-15 minutes and cool on a wire rack.<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy with butter, cream and\/or jam.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<p>\nScones go off very quickly so eat them within a few hours of baking.
