Are Bendy Buses Safe? It Appears Not

It seems not, as the entire London fleet of 130 bendy buses has been taken out of service for a week for safety work to take place.

Mercedes, through it's Evo Bus subsidiary, and TfL decided it would be safer to carry out safety modifications before letting the buses carry passengers again.
