Tube Delayed Due To Vasectomy

The London Evening Standard had a rather amusing story yesterday about how services on the Hammersmith & City and Circle lines were delayed by a vascetomy.

The incident took place when a trainee driver fainted and fell out of the train after listening to a rather graphic conversation between a driver and an instructor on the operation one of them had just had. As the trainee went to retch out of the window, he fainted and fell through. Thankfully the train was only travelling at about 15mph at the time and serious injuries were avoided.

London Underground originally blamed the delays on a defective train.

This has to be one of the better excuses of the year.
