September 11th Jitters

It appears the police in London are taking no chances today, being the 2nd anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

When my from Eastbourne train got to Victoria, we found all the exits sealed off and police manning them. The underground was also shut. In the end we found one exit round the side they were letting people out of. Outside there were loads of police cars, the front of the station had been taped off and all buses diverted.

I can't find anything online about this yet, not even on the traffic reports. It's better to be safe than sorry though.
