Octopus Erections

Well fact fans, today brings the news that octopuses can get erections.

Two US researchers, Joseph Thompson and Janet Voight, have reported their findings in the Journal of Zoology.

Why is this significant? Well apparently this is the first time such an organ has been found in an invertibrate, and it is remarkably similar to those found on mammals.

It's probably not a good idea to feed them Viagra!
