Georgy Russell For California

One of the more interesting stories I've come across this week, thanks to Will Hargrove, is that of Georgy Russell's attempt to become Governor of California.

I've not paid much attention to the race, infact just seeing a picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the paper has made me turn the page. Apart from Arnie, there is also a Porn Baron, a Porn Star and various other publicity seeking wannabes standing for office. However, Georgy has captured my imagination.

So what makes Georgy so different? Well apart from her attractive looks, she's also a geek. She's a Linux user, has a degree in Computer Science, and keeps a blog of her efforts to become governor.

She is also someone with determination, and that is something I admire.
