The best is a report from the company Market Trends to Gallaher Ltd on young smokers and their buying habits.

If you smoke it brands you as either a Slob, an Aspiring Sophisticate, a Conservative or a Worrier.

Slobs are most likely to be smoking B&H Special Filter, Embassy No.1 KS or Regal KS.

Describing members of this cluster as 'slobs' may seem unkind, but this title is particularly earnt by their low concern with their appearance and the little effort they make to keep them themselves informed.

Aspiring Sophisticates are most likely to be smoking Marlboro, B&H Special Filter or Berkeley Superkings.

Conservatives are most likely to be smoking Silk Cut KS, Regal KS or Embassy No 1. KS.

Worriers are most likely to be smoking Silk Cut KS or Lambert & Butler KS.

Now you can all impress your smoking friends by psychologically profiling them next time you’re all down the pub together.
