Best Of British Blogging 2003

The Guardian's British Blog Awards 2003 were announced today.

Annie Mole's excellent London Underground Tube Diary was commended, but unfortunately didn't manage to win. This is a real shame, as it's a great read. I discovered she had links to the Slashing Santa a few days before I posted my picture.

Unsurprisingly Belle de Jour won the top spot. The judges were concerned the blog was a work of fiction, but the quality of her writing is so good it had to win.

I have to agree, at times it's just too good. I wonder how long before it appears in print?
